The Pink Ribbon Project
The Pink Ribbon Project provides patients in southeastern North Carolina access to 3D mammography screenings, comfort to those undergoing cancer treatment and community awareness of breast cancer and the benefits of early diagnosis and screenings.
More than $3 million has been raised and over 7,750 comfort bags have been given to area women since 1998 - all possible through The Pink Ribbon Project events, community partnerships, and donations.
The Pink Ribbon Project is celebrated throughout the year by friends, businesses, schools, social clubs, and service organizations - all of whom host fundraising events to benefit breast cancer services at Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
